Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by the TAC to undertake an initial Safe System Assessment and road safety review of St Kilda Road. The project also involved the development of concept options for improvements to St Kilda Road as part of the TAC’s $100M Pedestrian and Cyclist Safety Program.

The project elements consisted of: detailed crash analysis; coordinating and facilitating stakeholder consultation and engagement workshops; undertaking engineering assessments and analysis of pedestrian and cyclist movements on St Kilda Road; development of initial concepts; and providing expert advice on pedestrian and cyclist safety aspects of the project
