Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd partnered with Victoria Walks to develop a comprehensive auditing and decision support tool for Banyule City Council. Banyule required the tool to conduct safe access audits of their main activity centres for pedestrians, cyclists and mobility scooter users.

The tool is made up of four modules: (1) a comprehensive audit checklist; (2) a reporting template for key issues and recommendations; (3) a report template to create a strategic overview of engineering issues, community sentiment and alignment with government planning and prioritisation; and (4) a template to enable comparisons between different activity centres and to support investment decisions.
