Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by the Victorian Department of Transport (Loddon Mallee Region) to develop and design safe pedestrian and cyclist crossing facilities at three arterial road intersections in Bendigo city centre. The project involved:

• Reviewing the existing conditions and plans for the upgrade of the adjoining corridors;
• Development and production of concept design options for these corridors that reflect the functions, needs and constraints of each intersection;
• Stakeholder consultation with the Department of Transport and the City of Greater Bendigo.

Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd progressed the designs from concept to detailed design.
