Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by John Holland to conduct a pre- and post implementation evaluation of their cycle-friendly roundabouts specifically to determine whether the design reduced the number of near-crashes between vehicles and cyclists and vehicles and pedestrians. Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd developed the evaluation methodology, engaged a traffic survey contractor, and analysed the data for this project. The Journal of the Australasian College of Road Safety (Issue 4, 2019) features this project as a case study.
