Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) as the road safety experts to perform an independent review of nine fixed speed cameras in NSW. The project involved traffic data review and analysis, crash data review and analysis, consultation with government stakeholders and performing a site investigation for each of the nine sites. The results from the analysis, consultation, and site investigation was used to recommend the retention, removal, or move to a new site of the fixed speed camera.
