SSS: What did you study?
Nathan: I studied a 4 year course in a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) at Monash University.
SSS: Why Safe System Solutions?
Nathan: I chose Safe System Solutions as it was a consultancy heavily involved in road safety, which I developed an interest for during my university studies. From my initial impressions, the team was also highly motivated, professional and friendly which motivated me to join.
SSS: What is it like to start a new job in the middle of a pandemic?
Nathan: Unique, as it poses some new challenges but the team is well suited and has been extremely supportive.
SSS: What’s a highlight of your studies you’re most proud of?
Nathan: Conducting an independent research study in my final year in association with the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) into negative roadside messaging and driver behaviour.
SSS: What is your favourite thing about your career?
Nathan: Working alongside positive and professional colleagues & clients in delivering a wide variety of projects to improve safety for the community.
SSS: Cat or dog person?
Nathan: Depends on the dog breed, but I’d say both?
