Does advanced driver training work? Are speed limits really that important? Are roundabouts always safer? How do we deal with extreme driver behaviour? How do we factor economic productivity into this? How do we fit motorcyclists into the Safe System? Can we scare kids into driving safer?
These were all questions in today’s energising Safe System Principles training run by our Principal Engineer – Kenn Beer.
With ten local governments represented, and a strong showing from Transport for NSW, today’s interactive and in-person training course in Goulburn focused on the principles of the Safe System and how we translate those to actions at a local level.
