The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Queensland, through their Road Safety Policy, has committed to the use of the Austroads Safe System Assessment Framework on infrastructure projects. Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged to build capability and capacity across TMR in its use.

The project reviewed the Road Safety Policy, other TMR specific documents, and reviewed projects and programs to understand the current state of play in relation to Safe System implementation. Then, the Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd team developed and designed a training package for the Queensland context – including Queensland specific examples.
