Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged to complete a stocktake of the research and key findings relating to extreme and repeat high risk traffic offences in Australasia. A stocktake of research was undertaken in the areas of: “hard core” offences; significant and excessive speeding; recidivist offences; excessive and illegal infringements; gross reckless and negligent behaviours; and intentional law breaking. The stocktake involved consultation with key personnel in select road authorities and policing agencies in Australasia. A key insights review of the most cited international research was included.
