Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged to review a proposed new truck parking area within Caltex Australia’s Newport Terminal. The terminal operates on a 24/7 basis and has over 250 truck movements every day.

A formal Risk Assessment was carried out to identify risks associated with a new truck parking area within the site. The assessment considered risks associated with both vehicles and pedestrians. The report recommended a number of safety treatments to eliminate or reduce the identified risks.
