Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by Moorabool Shire to develop a Community Road Safety Strategy to promote safe road-based travel. The aim of the strategy is to reduce serious and fatal injury crashes and help the Council deliver road safety activities that meet the needs of the community.

The Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd team analysed crash data – to see what is happening on the roads; they then talked to the community and stakeholders – to find out their concerns, priorities and ideas; then applied local knowledge and global best practice to develop the draft strategy that was presented to Council. This Road Safety Strategy aligns with the Safe System approach and Towards Zero.
