Speed signs that autonomous vehicles can’t read (and/or won’t understand). We played an advisory role supporting ARUP in an Austroads project titled: Implications of Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) Systems for Road Operators (AP-R580-18). Since then we can’t look at a road sign without asking ‘could an autonomous vehicle read and understand that one?’.
