Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged to undertake an independent road safety audit for motorcyclists using the bus lanes on Hoddle Street.

The audit included suggestions (all in accordance with Austroads Guidelines to Road Safety) on possible infrastructure and speed improvements, such as restricting movements into and out of one unsignalised road or signalisation, speed limit reductions, relocation and/or shielding of power poles, and signage and line marking.
