Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged to update the Department of Transport’s Making Roads Motorcycle Friendly manual and training material with the latest research and information relating to motorcycle infrastructure safety. The project involved performing a literature review on infrastructure treatment for motorcycle safety, workshops with stakeholders to obtain their feedback on proposed content, and coordinating, filming and adding videos to the updated manual to exemplify infrastructure best-practice for motorcycle safety.

In 2018 Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd won a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award for our involvement in the Making Roads Motorcycle Friendly package and its deployment.
