Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged to undertake a Local Area Traffic Management Study for Warrnambool’s Botanic Precinct in response to growing safety concerns due to mixed traffic use, traffic congestion, pressures on parking and pedestrian and cyclist access.

The aim of the study was to develop a list of prioritised cost-effective options to improve traffic management. The options were intended to inform the preparation of detailed infrastructure designs, a business case and funding applications. Work involved traffic studies, concept designs, community consultation, reporting and presentations.
