Safe System Solutions in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi have now received our second national road safety award this year.
Most of our work happens quietly. This just happens to have been a visible month for the Safe System Solutions team.
Last week we were recognised in New Zealand alongside the outstanding road safety team at NZTA with the National Road Trauma Centre (RTAT Charitable Trust) Road Safety Award.
There are many people behind this Safe System capability and capacity building programme:
- Our team who put in the effort day in, day out
- The practitioners across New Zealand who show up, challenge ideas, and take this back into their work
- The agencies and partners willing to do things differently
We are grateful to be part of it. Because in the end, it is not about awards. It is about building capability, shifting decisions, and creating a system where safe outcomes become the default.
