We posted one last week and incorrectly referred to an illegal powered device as an eBike. While it was a bike powered by an electric motor, it did not appear to meet the requirements of a compliant eBike. We apologise for any offence this may have caused.
So it’s probably a good time to clarify… what actually is an eBike?

A device moves beyond those limits is no longer treated as a bicycle. It becomes something else entirely under the system.
So, is the device being ridden in the footage below an eBike?
No.
It is an illegal powered device.
