Another motorcyclist NOT hitting a wire rope safety barrier.
( that’s not the point of this post, but I thought I would get it out of the way before the comments come in )

What I’m very interested in is the joint sealant here that appears to have destabilised the rider. If you look carefully, you can see it starts in the merge lane, which is going to be particularly problematic for a rider who is looking over their shoulder and into their mirror to find a safe merge point.

We cover the use of crack sealing in the Safe System Solutions 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮 course. We need to use crack sealing, but we also need to think about where we use it and what can be done to minimise the chance of it destabilising a rider.
