Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by City of Melbourne at Transurban’s request to undertake a Road Safety Audit and Human Factors Review of the proposed lighting of the Bolte Bridge for the Christmas period. The review included; reviewing background information and reports, inspecting the site (various drive-throughs and vantage points), human factors analysis, risk assessment from a traffic and safety perspective based on the operational context. The assessment received positive feedback from the client and was used to help gain approvals and management risks for this innovative project.
