Safe System Solutions Pty Ltd was engaged by VicRoads Western Region to undertake consultation, review and develop the Strategic Cycling Corridors for major townships in Western Victoria. This included Ararat, Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat, Daylesford, Horsham, Maryborough, Mildura, and Stawell.

The process included understanding and describing the strategic context developing a methodology to identify the Principal Bicycle Network (PBN) and Strategic Cycling Corridors (SCC). It also included a methodology for prioritizing interventions on the PBN and SCC, development of targeted investment plans and listing typical treatments.
