The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) harmonised the Queensland MUTCDΒ with the Australian Standard AS1742 series as part of the national harmonisation. The MUTCD now only contains Queensland specific differences to the Australian Standard and will need to be read together with the Australian Standard by practitioners in Queensland including TMR Regions/Districts, Local Government Authorities, Contractors and Consultants.
